Thought I'd try and get into his good books.

It's not the same now I've had to explain it......
Doh! Sorry I put my foot in it...So he reads this? I could never tell Marty and Brad Pitt apart. They could be twins

    • Martin Kennedy may not be the most gifted footballer but one thing I do know is he always put his heart and soul into his game when previously wearing our colours Welcome back Martin Kennedy

In fact, it's the other way around. An ex-ESL "premiership" player returning to the NRL. Nothing to get excited about IMO . Just a depth signing.
Do you mean to the roosters? What position does he play?

          • My 2 main memories of MK at the Roosters

            1. The tap restart, that was his best.

            2. Screaming in pain like he was going to die then getting up & walking off.

He is tougher than what I am in regards to playing at the top level of the NRL but to see him & hear him that day just left me with the impression that he is not NRL tough.
I just hope he can find some kahunas & make an impression & help the Roosters be competitive but I think he should buy or rent on the Central Coast.

I think that's being a bit tough on him. That injury was definite hyperextension of the knee and it was done on his own try-line trying to stop a try. The fact that he walked off in my view showed his toughness. He was out for a few weeks after that as well if I recall correctly.

Do you mean the kick off where he slipped as he was receiving the pass?

Thats the one. One of the funniest things Ive seen on a footy field. Up there with Mario getting sconed in the head with a pass whilst leaving the field, & Gus stealing Lauries chair on the sideline

Axe do you honestly believe Turk has any idea what he is talking about? A 'late January signing'?

Sorry Turk, u do provide off season entertainment, but like I said, its very easy to say their is a big signing coming and then laying claim to knowing about it weeks later. The old, "I told you so".
Its a lot harder to predict, then tell people what is going to happen, before it actually does.

Yes agree Ballychook...I've always been surprised why he wasn't lauded for toughness in that incident...rather than what he got on here.

                        • actually the bones in his lower lregs crumble and don't repair normally so hes very careful of them? his massive size doesn't help either, hes a very big unit!
vasco his screaming was frustration knowing how bad and how long his leg injuries take to heal!that was his pain!

Was at the The Star casino private box then (I used to work for them) with some Roosters and Dog fans...how embarrassing for us. that was my first intro to MK.

I have no doubt he will be better than when he was here in 2013. He has admittedly learnt a lot about the game in his year in brisbane and has a lot to prove returning to Sydney. What I like about him is that he is one of ours. Brought to the club when he was a youngster and has been developed by us. He also loves our club which is an added bonus than signing a dickhead like Mason.
                              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
