I think that's being a bit tough on him. That injury was definite hyperextension of the knee and it was done on his own try-line trying to stop a try. The fact that he walked off in my view showed his toughness. He was out for a few weeks after that as well if I recall correctly.

One screams at the initial and unexpected ripping/stretching of muscles etc that shouldn't be ripped and stretched...then one steels one's mind to the pain and the screaming and writing stops.

MK is tough enough for me...and hopefully the first of the new 'big forwards' that will be making up the Roosters 2015 team.

I have no doubt he will be better than when he was here in 2013. He has admittedly learnt a lot about the game in his year in brisbane and has a lot to prove returning to Sydney. What I like about him is that he is one of ours. Brought to the club when he was a youngster and has been developed by us. As long as he's learnt to push through the line when running the ball. He did that Dancing Dallas step prior to the line a lot in 2013, if he gets rid of that he could be very damaging.

What has he admitted to learning? His time at the broncos wasn't great so other than frustration, not sure what he could have learned thats of value. Lets be honest, the guy is after redemption. Lets hope for our sake that he doesn't take the money and becomes a liability.

All I can come up with is Taumalolo.

Joel Tomkins (Wigan) is in the England squad.
Samoa do not have a JT
NZ has Jason Taumalolo
Australia does not have a JT

Joel Tomkins played rugby for Saracens but Turk did not answer the question so it is between them.
What are thoughts re Tomkins?
Turk seems sure our JT will play for us next season. what odds of Jason Taumalolo getting a release so soon?
