Just had a look at Kennedy's stats. What the hell are people talking about he's improved?! He had one game over 100m out of about 7. Another 80m from 8 runs in 20 mins. Granted he wasn't given much time. But he still had a fair few errors and penalties by the looks of things. Didn't see those games so can only go off stats and they don't look all that outstanding to me. I'm jumping into the "hell no" club. Getting flashbacks of how frustrated I used to be with him.

Round 19 - 25 minutes, 8 runs, 70 metres, 0 errors, 0 pens
Round 22 - 19 minutes, 6 runs, 59 metres, 0 errors, 1 pen
Round 23 - 17 minutes, 3 runs, 25 metres, 1 error, 0 pens
Round 24 - 30 minutes, 10 runs, 127 metres, 0 errors, 0 pens
Round 25 - 20 minutes, 8 runs, 82 metres, 0 errors, 0 pens
Round 26 - 26 minutes, 6 runs, 53 metres, 1 error, 1 pen

They're not huge numbers but when put in the context of how many minutes he was playing they are pretty solid numbers.

I'm trying to remain optimistic about the signing, he definitely played the best footy I've seen him play in a few years in those last 6 or so rounds. It might be small and I might be clutching but hell he's our first official First Grade signing so lets not get too down about it.

Round 24 he has probably made more metres than the entire Dragons pack in most games.

That's the way I'm seeing it.

We are skinny in this department and there doesn't appear to be many other bargain options out there.

If he can produce something like his 2010 form then the Roosters will be better for it.

Evans aint going anywhere including overseas.
In fact, it's the other way around. An ex-ESL "premiership" player returning to the NRL. Nothing to get excited about IMO . Just a depth signing.
