To be brutally honest, Shane Flanagan was stupid and fell for Dank's lies (which are almost as good as the lies Mitch Ross told about his magic 'ice' bands) whereas Blake Ferguson was convicted of sticking his fingers in a girl's hoo-ha.

One's a question of being mentally subnormal, the other is bordering on being Bill Cosby.

Has Ferguson completed his assigned tasks and courses? If so, register him BEFORE Monday when new recruits commence pre-season training.
The paper said that Flanagan completed his courses and then cleared him to coach.

Like Vasco said, dont read too much into his Tweet. It just looked like a general comment out of a little frustration. Not coz of any rejection. My understanding is that he is doing all the right things. With his prior history, if i were running the NRL id be ticking all the boxes as well.

He's on his very, very, very last chance.
Hopefully someone can explain it all to him and convince him of what he has to 24/7/365 from now on if he wants to play in the NRL.

If he hasn't already done so he needs to do so, then convince the NRL that he's a totally changed man.

            If and when he's registered again he needs to;

            . Stay off the drink
. Stay out of pubs, and niteclubs.
. Stay away from any public place where there could be the possibility of trouble.
            ...for starters.

Wife doesnt let me mate. Even when doing a gig, I must return to the green room. No crowd mingling. Wifes orders. And yes, she scares me.

Does anyone truly believe Fergo won't f**k it all up again whilst with us?

The guy is a repeat offender, ala Carney, and is a time-bomb waiting to explode

If he's ticked all the requirements the NRL made for him, let him back in.. but i still am not convinced he will last at our club. The Carney saga should have taught our club a lesson

Carney is just a loose person, all his **** ups came down to poor decision making purely on his own.

Ferguson strikes me as naive & ignorant, easily led more than reckless, surround him with good people and he'll be fine. The fact that he's got a serious misses now will settle him down too.

I'm sure the media will come out with a few fluff stories in his first seasons here, Rothfield will be circling him like a hawk just waiting for him to J-walk or litter but so long as he doesn't give them anything of note I think he'll have a successful career here.

Fergo now realises that 4 play is not necessary.

It is being reported that Russell Packer is set to be offered a Contract by the merge very soon.

                                http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-... Packer: Dugan

If Packer gets his contract registered and Fergo doesn't then we will know that something is seriously farked up in the NRL.
