Ricky Stauart had the players playing and training with an intensity rarely seen.

I spoke to a player who played under him during that period who said they simply ran out of puff early in 2006.

Ricky also had his favourites and enjoyed a drink with the players.

Robbo is different in many ways. The only similarities are their records after two seasons.

Im not saying that Robbo doesn't deserve his contract extension but I just want to remind people that Ricky Stewart had been more successful at the Roosters over 2 years than what Robbo has been.

Coaching the Roosters without SBW will be like coaching the Roosters without Freddy like Stewart had to do. I think Robbo will be lucky to get the Roosters in the top 4 next year so that would mean that he has taken the team from the top & slowly gone down the ladder, hope Im wrong.

My main point is everyone thought Ricky was the messiah after taking us to 3 GF's in a row 18 months later he was sacked.
