    Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

          Chook.
When Voss was on Ch9 he was the worst of the lot, complete tool absolutely full of himself. But listening to him lately he seems to have taken it all down a peg or two and is actually pretty decent.

That's true KB, he was full of himself but I think his sacking from Nein knocked the ego out of him and he's now a far better commentator, he makes watching Warriors games bearable. I'd have him over Hadley any day. Hadley's voice would kill Ebola.

            Chook.

The NRL and Channel Nine want to cash in on the remarkable appeal and hype of super coach Wayne Bennett’s return to Brisbane by opening the 2015 season with a Broncos-Rabbitohs blockbuster on a Thursday night.

Since the GF this year I have been saying that a $ouff$ vs broncos GF will be the NRL's next project that they want to see happen, just like they have been trying since 2012 for a $ouff$ vs bull$cumdog$hit GF. Unscrupulous f**kheads packer/ru$ty and murdoch will be pulling the strings of the NRL to make it happen!

Watch as the NRL look after these two teams with the match scheduling when the draw finally comes out!! They will both be given just about every Friday night so that they never/or hardly ever have a short turnaround between games, and ensure that most weeks they come up against a team with a short turnaround.

I won't be surprised at all in the slightest if we are given a Monday night, or a hot Sunday 1st round which is starting us off right behind the 8 ball straight away!! Starting on the Thursday night round 1 ensures you get off to the best possible start as you get a great turnaround between games, so it was always naturally going to be a broncos vs $ouff$ Thursday night, even though the tradition has been there for some years now that we play $ouff$.

The cheating has already begun for next year, nothing f**king changes with the packer/ru$ty and murdoch controlled NRL!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                Here's looking at you, kid.

As much as I hate hate hate souths, I really want to seethe broncos being smashed every round to end this Bennett myth, even if I have to support the vermin for this match.. Urgh!

I think the NRL just want to cash in on opening night being big in 2 states not just 1.

I believe that Thirteen you are correct with your point as this fixture means there will be significant interest in both states as opposed to just Queensland had the NRL gone with a Brisbane Broncos vs North Queensland Cowboys opener. Channel 9 try their best for their own interest to arrange matches by the way of ratings and I believe that these two teams are the two highest ratings teams in the NRL so it does make sense from their point of view. I personally am not too concerned on what round or what day we play any teams.

good point. We'll miss the revenue. Do Souffs get the home match or the Broncos?

Whilst the 2 points of playing a team like Tigers will help, I cannot see why they abandon tradition? Double standards again from the NaziRL
