I'll get excited if we manage to beat the Vermin in Round 1.
Talk means nothing without the results to back it up.
Trials mean not much more than talk.
The real test will come when the big boys come out to play.
If we can beat the Vermin I'll be confident that we in for a reasonable year in 2010, although I think our real rise to the top echelons will start from 2011.

Sure, a round one win would be a nice start, but it's not the be all and end all
Provided we see some much needed structure in attack, and some intent and committment in defense, I'll take that over a scratchy win
Beating the vermin is close to the the be all and end all as far as I'm concerned.
Above all other sides nowdays, including the Dogs, I hate losing to the Vermin filth. And we had to suffer it twice last year, and by significant margins as well.
The Roosters need to start as they mean to go on - by beating the Vermin. Every time we lose to them in Round 1, our whole season sucks (ie; 07 and 09).

Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

With a new coach and this much talked about new attacking structure, and (hopefully) a new halves combination, you'd think that whatever the Roosters do in Round 1, they'll improve on
Like they say, The Melbourne Cup isn't won at the 3000m mark
