In all honesty, it seems obvious and inevitable that Hastings will replace Maloney once his contract expires, you don't need to be a genius to work that out.

In regards to JWH, he's been at the club since 2010, signing contract extensions along the way. Why hasn't he gone yet? Why would he want to go? Would he make it in rugby? etc

His situation is different, but I think he'll re-sign.

when BBQ is in that line break mood it's over for the opposition

can SOH kick at 75-85% success rate, we need a sharp shooter if BBQ goes.

Only if Hastings is good enough, nothing yet suggests Hastings will make a class NRL half. Maloney's will be big shoes to fill.

Like I said, that's a bet I would be happy to lose.

He got those extensions before he was the best prop in the game (admittedly slipped off massively last year) and before a lot of our young players started earning big money. Also, when Moa was upgraded I am sure that some of Jarred's possible new money went there.

The vultures are circling and I think Jarred will be one of the first picked off.

I cant see us paying the big money it will take to re-sign JWH, last season him and SBW were shadows of their 2013 form, and it cost us dearly, I would be prepared to let JWH move on , and use the money wiser , for a genuine front row class act. We have a mile of good second rowers, and the jury is still out on our props, this is a make or break season for them, I think we will end up with Merrin in 2016, and hopefully JT as well, be good to get one off the Cowboys after them almost amassing a full football team including the coach from us.

              You should be grateful.

They didn't get anyone we wanted to keep.

His personality is worth something but his skill set is worth far less than his next asking price, good luck to him.

Sticky is bringing back the old boys from when he was with us. First Slowiola, now butterball, oh what I'd do to see a halves combo of Bwaiff and Dafinchy again.....

Fair enough but the most important thing would be having some touch judges with proper match fitness seeing as though they will see more ball than our outside backs.

I was thinking more along the lines that everyone would go to this spectacle knowing there would be a good chance that everyone would get a free football.
