    Thanks for the info Fletch.

Before anyone complains, we have an 8 day turn around while Souths will have 9/10; and they're playing in the heat of day too, not just us.

The NRL is not out to get us.

Why is the game at ANZ?

But they were out to get the others over the line so Hollywood Harry could get his fairytale.

Then question needs to be asked ... Why isnt the game being played in Round 4 at SFS ... From a roosters point of view ... first it is our turn to have the home game in first clash ... secondly it costs us big crowds and members ... by the off chance we have a good start to season the club would have been able to sign lots of walk up members on game day ... Little chance this happening at Homebush

Me too Stephen! I can wear my tin foil hat at this time of year with matching shoes and handbag.
And in unrelated Roosters news, Mini just bought a house near me...

IMO Great idea, games spread far and wide on Anzac day. Will be a hit in years to come.

I think it's brilliant. Of all the states/territories and NZ where teams (from the NRL and the AFL) have home games, only Canberra misses out. But they (ACT) do have a game in the AFL where GWS play Gold Coast. Fremantle and Port Adelaide also host games which means Tasmania and the NT (unfortunately) are the only states/territories not to host a game.

I think for the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landings at Gallipoli, as much recognition should be given to the diggers as we possibly can. And if that’s a minute’s silence at every game played that weekend, a donation to the RSL, visiting a friend, relative or someone you know that has served or is in the armed forces at least that’s something.

I know listening to ‘The Last Post’ always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
