the NRL has received a contract from the Roosters in regards Fergo, just a matter now when they finally rubber stamp it.

the club aren't really pushing his registration through as he is battling back from his ankle injury but also a hamstring injury, it is highly unlikely even if registered for him to play at the 9's.

From what I've seen his movement on his ankle looks good but he did pull up with s stiff hammy at training

he has been out of the NRL for a long time now, there is a big difference between being fit and NRL fit, he would really need to star in the trials to be part of our 17 for round 1 against the Cowboys.

At the members forum tonight, Brian Canavan said that the contract is all but registered. There are a few minor points to sort out but he said it should be ok.
