    Yep,
If we wanted the kinda crap we copped last year we might as well be watching wrestling, or some other staged event.

Agree with you and Tommy here. I hope against hope that the vermin scum don't get another rails run to another premiership and that the Roosters get a fair go from the officials.

I honestly think Souffs will struggle in 2015, Lone Rooster.

Burgers and Te'o are huge losses. Glenn Stewart won't be a good fit. The youngsters will have second year syndrome, the hunger will diminish, and the help from the referees will abate.

I think the effect of that muppet Packer buying into the club will have a subconscious effect on the public perception and thus the officials, who are shaped by the NRLs and media driven narrative

All of a sudden they're not the drought suffering battlers. They're the champion playboys who party in Vegas and are owned by Hollywood Rusty AND Billionaire Packer.

So watch for the penalties to be harder to come by. The 200 they received last year in the regular season (compared to our 120) was, statistically, a once in a generation gift and disparity surely not likely to be repeated.

Surely... hopefully... but then again, this is the NRL and the officials are led by Tony Archer!

I disagree. As much as I hate souths they have a great roster with depth. They'll have a very similar run to what we did last year. Keary, Johnston, walker, burgess brothers will all improve. Coping with expectation and losing hunger will be significant issues that all premiers deal with but talent alone will see them to the top 4. Very interested to see what Stewart can produce at the bunnies.

I mean we started that game with 1/7 completions. That speaks volumes to the contrasting determination, deep down, of the team in 2014 compared to 2013.

Buy I do strongly believe that we'll rediscover our hunger in 2015. Let's just hope it's enough to overcome the indisputable, unarguable, undeniable referee bias.

Without Sam and Teo the only really good foward they have is George. If they also missing Auva'a then they lose some strong attack and defense outwide. They will make the 8 but i don't see them being as dominant as last year.

Why? Ball carrying arm never touched the ground, momentum never stopped, and the ref did not call held.

Most clear cut try of all time

Sam Burgess is a huge loss for them, as he would be for any team.

SBW will be a massive loss for us also. He may not have been as dominant as his first season but he was the main focus of the opposition each and every game.

                      Yeah.
But I'm hoping SBW"s legacy will benefit our roster more than squirrels will with souths.
                      Gotta think positive.

it was an honest try for any other team bar the roosters! yes I feel it cost us the comp?
or at least a grand final appearance v souths the dreamj match up for the nrl? but thety couldn't take the chance with us in a grand final? we might just have broken their souffs wet dream? although I doubt it I do know wed have come a lot closer than the dogs!

SBW was great in 2013 for us, but 2014 seen him pull right back, not sure if an injury was hampering him, but he was a shadow of his 2013 form. We will miss more of his off field things he bought to the club, then his actual playing ability in 2015, the young blokes in the club need to continue on what he has shown them it takes to succeed in the NRL, lets hope that's what happens.

Anyone who watched that game and supports us would be embarrassed by our performance. We were woeful. Did not deserve to progress against a second string Penrith team.

I'm actually tired of all the comments regarding the referees taking last season away from us. Imo last season will go down as one of the greatest missed opportunities. All season we were in second gear and still finished minor premiers. Our talent was far above the other sides but for whatever reason they couldn't go on it. Maybe it was a lack of hunger, maybe it was the extra long season.. we do get overly penalised. But we were also a very poorly disciplined team. The penalties that came out of our forward pack are outright lazy and stupid at times. Until that garbage is out of our game it's pointless bagging the refs.

I hope this team is in the right head space and refreshed for 2015 because once again we have a truly great roster with depth and are more than capable of going on and taking it out.
