Why were the Broncs so dominate over us in their first decade? Just watching a match from 96 and we had beaten them only once from nine attempts. I remember the bronco dominance in the early 90s, but was too young to remember 88/89/90.

Just watched Easts beat Brisbane many years ago on a Monday might.

Three things struck me:

* Footy was so much better to watch back then.
* How good was Jorgensen?
* When you win the penalties 8-0 like we did you should win. Shows how good Broncos were to all but win the game. Paul McBlane where are you??

I've got a whole batch on VHS dating back 10 years now. All victories of course and quite a few against the vermin. The one I really want is from 2005 against Canterbury at ANZ on a Friday night and it was the first time we had faced them since the 2004 grand final. We were down 16-0 at half time because Adrian was sent off and we still managed to win with 12 men. I'm still waiting for the NRL to release it through the archives on DVD.

That was a great game.

Watching that 96 Brisbane game at the SFS, Jorgensen reminded me a lot of RTS. A very similar step.

He moved to Penrith with Super League, but he disappeared shortly after. He never realised his potential.
