Todd "Carnage" Carney is a grown man and should take responsibility for his own actions and not blame other people for his troubles as some fans are doing. Whether or not Todd Carney or other platers disagreed with the alcohol ban they should still have respected and abided by the rules that were put in place at that time however they did not and that is entirely each individuals fault.

I find it ludicrous that grown men who earn a very comfortable living can not take responsibility for themselves.

I do not believe that is a chicken or egg situation as I believe that if the leadership has made a decision or a set of rules it should be respected. The players involved who were sacked and suspended made a conscious decision to disrespect the leadership of our club and perhaps for those players who were terminated from the club they may have got what that were after.

It is ancient history now however and I believe we have a much respectable set of players and coaching staff than we did in season 2011.

Couldn't have said it better myself BAW. As far as Carney's concerned, it's Smithy's fault, it's Braith's fault, it's the Canberra police's fault, it's his mate with the mobile's fault! He's complaining about Wicks and Packer being allowed a second chance for worse crimes, and yet he's forgotten he's already had about 10 chances himself and he still refuses to change his ways and get off the grog.
