I'm pleased to say that Marty hit the ground running on day 1 with the bonus being he was already familiar with our philosophy and processes, he constantly demands feed back and is working hard doing the stuff that we deliver at training.

Can someone give him some coaching on NOT giving away bloody play the ball penalties.. He needs to be schooled next to JWH.

If he could hit the line as fast as he's running in that video then he'd be a beast to tackle. We'll probably have to live with how slow he is reloading in defence cos he does a lot of work defensively for such a big guy. Maybe shorter stints are the answer. With JWH looking much fitter that might be a possibility. Napa could probably push out more minutes this year to accommodate it as well. Will be interesting to see how the bench ends up. As the article predicts we could well see 4 genuine props on the bench. Aubusson can cover centres and hooker now if injury hits in a game. Guerra can fill in at centres also. Liu and Napa can both play back row if need be. Although personally I'd prefer Hastings there for halves and fullback cover. Probably in place of either MK or Evans depending on form.

C'mon bros. Get behind the man. I think we'll see a lot of improvement in mk this yr. He was hampered by injuries last yr and was only a pup with us before.

I was actually sad to see him go to the Drongos as he always gave it his all and wasn't lazy like some other forward we had at the time. All he has to do is improve his speed in the tackle, get back the 10 and not give away those silly penalties then will will be a gun.

The bro', will go okay this year, for the reasons put up by BigC bro' and Axebro' sound perfectly reasonable.

Go Marty 'MLK' the big Bro'.

Was just kidding around. Although I do believe he needs to be more of an enforcer.
Was never a fan but I do think he will add to our depth which was weaker last year. I am not unhappy he has returned.

To right cuzz, the Bro' needs lessons from Rampaging Royce Ayliffe, Ronnie Gibbs and*Mike 'The Paddle Pop Lion' McLean. Failing that we could get the spirit of Charlie Froth to posess him..??

I am with you BC. I am backing Marty to have a very good season for us this year! He is a big unit, and I think it was a great move by Robbo and POS to get rid of Casty and replace him with Marty!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                          Here's looking at you, kid.

Does anyone know what his penalties conceded were when he was at Roosters v Broncos in last two years. It would be interesting to know.

At least MK wants to be at the Roosters.
He ain't a blow in like Vautin, or a fake like Cleal.
