How's your fan base taken Joe's decision not to re-sign & leave instead. Guttered I guess?
What's your gut feeling about how he'll go in the tough world of NRL?
From the footage that's been put up, i'm impressed with his speed & agility. He seems to glide....sort of reminds me of Brett Morris.

I think most people are bit disappointed that he isn't givjng the club another 2/3 years before going to the NRL (thank god he's not going to Union). He hasn't won a thing yet and him leaving will be a blow, but the wing is a position where we aren't exactly short of talent and I think young Dom Manfredi will step up just fine. At least he's left on good terms and will always be welcome back should he choose to return. I'd say he'll go well in the NRL to be honest, he's got the speed, vision and cockiness that you need to succeed over there. He's still only 20 so there's a lot of improvement still to come!

He's in his prime right now. He'd be a useful addition to a lot of sides over there if you ask me.

Logically, I think you'll find it will be Toups then Jenko depending on how Nene and Fergo go.. But if Roger Leaves I think all will be retained.

Why would the club let Jennings go? I thought it would be high priority to re-sign him.

What's wrong with Blake Ferguson and Joe burgess? This is the nature of the business. Skd wasn't playing for the love of the roosters. He was on one of the best contracts for a centre in the nrl 4 years ago. As for tupou.. He's done a great job for us and If he leaves he won't be hard done by us.. It will be so that he can achieve a massive pay day elsewhere.. Hey, we'll offer them 200k contracts if they want to play for love and loyalty. Whilst sometimes it's a shame to lose players because we've shared some highs and lows.. It's always going to happen. And as long as we don't lose the ones that we need to keep then we're doing the right thing to ensure our long term success. Sentiment doesn't win premierships.

In fact Bobby Goulding, Mark Edmondson, Jordan Tansey, Martin Offiah and as recently as last season Remy Casty all went home earlier than anticipated. So I am a little concerned that we do not have much luck regarding signing European players in recent years.

In fact Bobby Goulding, Mark Edmondson, Jordan Tansey, Martin Offiah and as recently as last season Remy Casty all went home earlier than anticipated. So I am a little concerned that we do not have much luck regarding signing European players in recent years.

Chariots Offiah and Bobby Goulding only played for a short stint inbetween English seasons (back in the day when we played in the winter) if I remember rightly? The reason why they went home earlier than anticipated was most likely because they both only had a short term contract anyway.

yes jo e was here for a while , I can remember chariots taking off with that speed nobody got near him, until Penrith broke his leg!

It is very disappointing I find to potentially lose a loyal player such as Shaun "Skidsy" Kenny Dowall who loves our club dearly and has spent 10 years at our club and was on the way to break the top try scoring record, as well as young up and coming talent Daniel Tupou for players such as Blake Ferguson and Joe Burgess.

Losing tommy symmonds and brad Taka with masoe nudged us slightly in the black so we could sign SBW and jenko.Got us a premiership in 2013.
