For mine, the 74-5 Roosters with legends including Beetson, Fairfax (hope he recovers soon from a stroke), Brass, Mullins, The Shu, Harris, Mayes, Junee, Coote, The Axe, Walters etc.
Just watch the YouTube clips to see their brilliance and remember the state of the grounds and the balls they played with.

I also love the 2000s and enjoy watching the brilliant coaching mind of Robbo. I love how he runs rings around the press, the NRL $10K fines. Too good

Winning the 2 GFs would be obvious. However the second half verses the Knights in the 2000 PF is my highlight....our seats in the middle of the massive Knights army and was copping shite from their inbred fans in the first half.

That second half comeback inspired by Freddy will live with me forever and the priceless looks on the Knights fans around me when it happened.......what memories!

Favourite moment was freddy in 02. I felt like I would die and never see my team win it before that year.
            Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

The Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club was formed on 24 January 1908[4][5] after it was decided that the district should enter a team in the newly formed New South Wales Rugby Football League.[6] Unofficially nicknamed the "Tricolours" due to the their red, white and blue playing strip,[7] Eastern Suburbs won its first match, defeating Newtown 32–16 at Wentworth Oval on 20 April 1908.[5] In 1913, they became the first club to win three consecutive premierships;[4][8][9] the line-ups during this period included the likes of Dally Messenger, Harry "Jersey" Flegg and Sandy Pearce, all regarded as all-time rugby league greats.[4][10] However, the club rapidly declined and failed to win the premiership for the next nine seasons.[9]

You're right. That game against Newcastle and the 100 minute tigers game were the two most memorable non premiership wins. I was lucky enough to be at both games. And the win against manly in the gf.

once again my roosters blood pressure has gone through the roof, I was so glad to be at that tigers game but honestly thought the tigs would drop over a field goal in the set that skid intercepted?

Watching the Brass and Harris centre combination - the best pairing I have seen. The 75 gf when tries were 3 points we lead 5 nil at halftime.the Shubert try against Manly on the old sports ground - the best Easts try I have seen to date - for younger fans check it out on you tube
