  • Napa risking missing first two premiership matches

not sure if its 100% confirmed but if Napa fights his careless high tackle charge and loses he will miss the first two premiership matches due to loading and carry over points.

seriously the judiciary system is a joke, yes it was a careless tackle that bounced up off the ball, but to face missing up to two premiership matches for that from the 9's tournament doesn't seem like a equitable punishment.

That would be an outrageous sick joke for Napa to be missing 2 NRL matches for that!! But then again I expect nothing less from the biased cheating NRL! What about the couple of high shots that george burgar$e did?? Oh that's right he's a $ouff$ player so that's permitted.

As far as I know shouldn't trial matches be included in the suspension, as they have in the past. We have 2 trials so then he should be right for round 1.

It wasn't as bad as Sam Burgess' high shot on SBW in last year's Prelim.

        What a joke.

I'll be more impressed when Napa starts making some decent metres as a front rower. All well and good to be intimidating and Napa definitely has some victims on his hit list, however being a hit man will only carry you so far.

I think Napa is over confident and needs to give his ego a rest and pull his head in. Eventually the refs and judiciary will penalise him for the most minor indiscretions.

I havnt seen the incident but Im liking that he could be suspended.

If 1 or maybe 2 of our frontrowers don't get suspended during the season for foul play then they havnt done there job IMO.
2013 JWH was suspended for 5 weeks for foul play & it was the best thing to happen for the team. They thrived off knowing their enforcer was enforcing his authority & that he would come back even meaner. I hope Napa gets more grub in his game, I hope he face massages the opposition & stands on the oppositions calf when he is getting off them or he uses his elbow point as leverage on the opposition players crutch as he is getting up off them.

Certainly didn't bounce up off the ball, it was a flush shot to the jaw.
                Wasn't intentional but def careless

But as Tommy said, Burge$$ should have gone for his shot on SBW and the judiciary is a joke.

I actually thought the shot was quite bad and would be surprised if he isn't suspended given his record etc. Repeat offenders such as napa should be stood down until they can learn that their poor discipline hurts us as a team.

its a 9s comp. not a nrl comp that the offence took place in. why does anyone have carry over points to start with , being a brand new year , and how can an offence from a different formatted game apply to a regular season competition game.

What would happen if high shots, late tackles, elbows and dirty play didn't have any consequences?

Haha yes I agree. Until Pearce gets a broken jaw by some young buck trying to make a name for himself and we spend 2015 without a half.
