Taukeiaho is the man that will do us proud this year. He looked one of our best out there today. They talked him up in regards to off season training & now I know why, he will make the 17 for sure. We should also make Moloney a offer to stay till the end of his career. He & mitch were standouts also.

In terms of our 17 I was interested in what he had to show at the 9's

He made positive moves over the weekend

If he makes an impression in the trials he could be outside of SKD come the first round given Blakes slow (but sure) progress, Nene is ahead of him in the pecking order but it's not locked in.

Can't see taukeiaho making the top 17 though. Will be interesting to see what happens with Evans as other clubs are putting out feelers for him but we have rejected letting him go. He has big wraps on him but is yet to step up. Lots of questions to answer for a few younguns this season.

If Friend was fit then I could see Taukeiaho getting a bench spot along side 3 of Napa, Kennedy, Liu, Meehan and Evans with Aubusson starting and providing utility cover, but with Friend out we have to go in with 2 hookers meaning Taukeaiho, Meehan and Evans will probably miss out Round 1. All will get their shot eventually and do us proud because all 3 look like they have immense talent.

As for Aubusson, if he continues his 9s form in the trials then there's no question he gets SBWs spot, if there wasn't already.
