It would be nice to see a few of the guys that didn't go to NZ. Like Kennedy etc.

I reckon Kennedy will end up in the ESL next year he hasn't got the ticker to be a tough frontrower in the NRL.

Kennedy has a lot to prove. I don't think anyone rates him.
He did play well in the 4-0 win against Manly. But one decent games doesn't make you a good player.

I think mlk played so poorly because he knew he didn't have a permanent spot in the 17 due to the treat of lod, fpn being superior. its like he didn't want to fight for his spot.and plus he wasn't named in the grand final aswell. then the next year he would have know casty was coming, kane and napsta both played in fg. so he shopped him self around and found a club who had a thin forward bench and flew the coope. so now he is back at home(with no casty or fpn) he will have a spot ,and the drongos are having to pay us to have him play or not.

welcome back marty. and I reckon he will go ok

He was also great in that round 26 game against Souths.

the Wyong Roos tweeted yesterday that the lineups won't be known until Saturday afternoon.

don't expect many first grade Roosters to get any game time this weekend, Robbo said in a recent interview the players were about to embark on another hard training block to prepare them for the Manly trial on Feb 21.

assuming their are no more injuries we should see everyone except Friend play on Feb 21 as our only dress rehearsal for round 1.

interesting that Robbo is making Kennedy play in what is essentially a reserve grade squad, certainly an indication he is not first in line to be in the starting 17 come round 1.

Fletch, I'm pretty sure every other first grader (even close fringe players) played either four nations or Nines. So this is just the blokes in the squad that are left over surely. I'll be heading up there to see how a few of the new boys and the 20s look. Should be a good day of footy. Hopefully Marty shows some of his potential and better fitness.

Yak, it will be great to hear another pre-season match report from you, I'm sure you will have your eye on Latrell Mitchell and Nat Butcher in the 20's and in particular Fergo,Kennedy,Leuluai,McIlwrick,Papilii in the Roo's trial.
