Not only that but the moron forgot about 3rd party sponsors and what not.
Not to mention the fact that MJ's contract was partially paid out by the riff. Also mini was practically not in the cap at all thanks to the long service exemption .

On the topic of third party payments, I will be very interested to see what dullbogs books look like.

"Ive said from the start Im not sold on RTS at FB" that's not shit canning anyone it was a comment.

The only person shit canning is you of McDonald who you seem to think was responsible for the woeful team loss to Cronulla last year.
      Wake up to yourself.

        Mickey,

First and foremost in case you missed that game McDonald dropped about four or five bombs while playing at FB, a couple which directly led to Cronulla tries so yes I do believe he contributed significantly to the loss (but you are right the team as a whole played crap).

Secondly you are totally entitled to your opinion on Roger, as am I of he and Nene McDonald. Perhaps I could have chosen my words better, but I just think he needs to be given a good amount of time in the #1 shirt before we look at other alternatives.

Bro's, of what I have $een from Nene so far in his career as talented as he is. He appears to lack the urgency and awareness especially in defence of what is required to be a first grade winger let alone playing fullback in first grade. It may come with experience for Nene but I for am hoping RTS gets a decent crack at the number 1 Jersey cuzzies.

              All good mate.

I honestly hope RTS does fire at FB but at the moment Im worried but hey Robbo, RTS & the team would know better than me & if they are up for it then it's the right move.

It's just as likely that he'll be fullback of the year as it is that he'll be a failure.

Which makes for exciting viewing ahead!

Ftr I think he'll give me a heart attack under the high ball, and he seems even more gumby than Mini with the grubber heading his way. But in attack he'll be absolutely motha ****in' electric.

So no doubt, it's in defence that he'll experience the most growing pains.

I can sorta see him being a bit of a Ben Barba with better skills, more brains and no off-field issues. Dally M quality right there depending on how the cards fall! He's like the opposite of a (later years) Mini and I think we'll see the difference with his kick returns... having an 85% chance of stepping 2/3 defenders is a different kind of defence IMO because it gets you out of gaol (and puts you on the front foot) so that you don't have to defend as many 50:50 high balls/grubbers within 20 of the try line.

I really don't know what his FB defence is like since Mini did it all last year. That said, even if it's average, we have a world class backline. Given RTS' height, I'd expect that Tupou and SKD and Fergo (with his leap) will be expected to call for a lot of the high balls.

Teams with average wingers/centres need a bloody good defensive FB. Teams with depth and structure can select FBs who are better in attack.

Well by round 8 we knew how good he was...so did the Warriors too.
                        Maybe they'll reject him again.

Great player. Had an amazing season.

And possibly cost us a Premiership with his atrocious finals series.

Enjoy the company of McFadden and Hurrell, bro.
