Which would mean we are closer to locking in Napa as well. Unless a spanner is thrown in the Merrin deal and we see a straight swap. But I doubt this!
Robbo seems like he rather hang on to Napa then pay big bucks for Merrin. And I read somewhere Napa saying he wants to stay at Easts

Tough question because it all depends on the moolah.
I think the comparison's of Taumalolo to SBW are laughable. lolo has nowhere near the offloading / defensive attributes of SBW. SBW even last year, made some very important tackles when it looked like a break was on and I think that part of his game, arguably the least noticed, is the part that will be most missed this year. I don't think that lolo has the same fitness levels as SBW or the same offloading/playmaking that sbw can create from nowhere.
lolo though has more power than Napa which is a big bonus when he plays off the bench. I think though that if napa can learn to tuck his shoulder in when tackling, he can become a real tackling machine. I'd like to see him move to lock also later in his career. I think he can play long minutes.Comment of the year:

Napa at lock I havn't really considered but it could be a good ploy it would mean Maubs stays on the bench & I think you would unfortunately have to have Kennedy on the bench & Meehan would miss out.
At full strength
JWH
Friend
Moa
Guerra
Cordner
Napa
Bench
Liu
Maubs
Hastings
Kennedy
I don't think that bench is good enough.

I have no doubt we will be signing a big name player for 2016.
With talk of us losing the likes of BBQ, SKD, Toups, Napa and RTS and no guarantee that Fergo will be us depending on how he goes this year, it leaves a huge chunk of cap space.
The obvious candidates are:
Taumalolo - rumoured to want to move to Sydney.
Merrin - backup option if we don't succeed luring Taumalolo.
Folau - rumoured that he won't re-sign with union. Who knows he may want to try his hand at NFL.
Foran - Parra are odds-on to take him but apparently we are still in the mix.
Of these four if we lose RTS, Toups and/or SKD then I think we would go hard for Folau.
