No need. Its 2011 we start really building up to something. 2010 is a recovery year and it will take us a year to get over 09.

I'm hoping that the Roosters can replicate the turnaround in form that the Bulldogs demonstrated in 2009.

I think the club will front end a few players contracts leaving us with some room to move under the salary cap in 2011.
Thats probably the way to go. Next year isn't about winning the comp, but rebuilding. See which kids develop and keep the money in the kitty for when (or if) they do. If they don't, then there is space under the cap to bring some good players into the positions required (or buy some more halves ).

I can't see it happening.. The Bulldogs signed a number of proven high quality First Graders coming towards the peak of their careers.. Noddy excepted as he is in the veteran stage.. You are comparing chalk and cheese when looking at our roster in 2010 and theirs in 2009.

Wasn't there a hand shake agreement with him a couple of seasons ago?

                      Trew/Brain?

I think someone was probably shaking their dick rather than his hand.

We really do need a classy centre. Inu would be a good start. Jennings would be ideal.

The good thing about Lawrence is that he seems like a centre and a centre only. No moving into the second row for him.
