Exactly...which in rooster language means "dont hold your breath as it could be months".

As long as I receive the package by Round 2 of the NRL, I'll be happy.

I never expect too much of the Roosters' office staff - sad but true.

I save my expectations for the bleeding team - not that they've been any more reliable recently.

Interesting that ToK has disappeared from this thread after his statement that no other clubs board interferes in the running of the football operations was proven to be totally wrong......

Bit of a bump here, but far out we've come a long way, even in just four years.

A month out from round 1 and we had 2600 members...

Mate they never pushed membership for the first 30 years that I followed the club, it was unheard of not just with the Roosters but by every club. The Roosters had the full backing of the Leagues club & and just 1 major sponsor (Nick) which was enough for the club to compete in the NRL but then the Government introduced the pokies tax & Nick had pulled out as the major sponsor but was able to fill the void with other major sponsors & help the Easts group to become very profitable identity but back to membership due to the pokies tax clubs had to find other financial revenues so the NRL copied the AFL & introduced supporters to become members.

Hopefully it continues to grow & the Roosters reach 50 thousand members. Ive had membership for the last 12 years & I just consider it a small price to pay for the enjoyment I get from the Roosters club on & off the field. Small tax to follow them.
