I admit I talk shit in the off season but when there's footy on, I enjoy discussing it.

Roosdaman,
If you want positive-spin stories and posts, why not read the Courier Mail and support the Broncos.
Sadly in Sydney, we have the Tellucrap. Perhaps their negative Roosters campaign is rubbing off on us all.
Will consider your sentiment in my next postWritten and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

I just want to make clear that i have no objection to people speaking their opinion here, whatever it is.
Im new here and i repect that everyone who joined this site is a Roosters supporter.....and obviously many are frustrated with what happened last year,,,include me in....
I was just trying to make a point that as supporters I thought we would all enjoy putting a more positive spin on the coming season....especially before a ball has been kicked.....Im really hoping we can be competitive, and Im looking forward to seeing the players meld into a formidable TEAM....one that we can all be proud of.

Ive been through the hard times over the years, from 1965, from the times of Ron Saddler and Kevin Junee, and when our biggest forward was under 90kgs......... and as long as our boys put in their best effort I walked away happy..... sure we havent got the roster to be called a team of champions this year, but we have got the opportunity to form a champion TEAM.
Its 17 against 17 every week, and my hope is that our boys can form a bond that makes them ready to put it on the line for each other, I think if brian Smith can get that out of them we will have a good season, and be competitive with anyone on our day.
The heart of any team is shown by how they defend, and how they can stay composed under pressure.....that should be Smiths main goal this year. If we get that right we can hold our heads up against anyone.
Even including my rants about the Soward/Pearce debate i have never read just dribble, surely you are in the middle of a mid age crises, having a nic a teenager would use, im guessing you drive a wrx if "daman" is in your vocabulary.
I do not agree with your opinion, but i respect your god given right to have one.
Without doubt ( off course not including the original WALL) this is the best Roosters forum on the net, for me personally i have met many people who i now call good mates, shit we disagree but we are the first to shake hands, have a drink and share a laugh when we get together, these a life long friends, i cannot thank sites like this enough.
I think you need to
get a grip
build a bridge and get over it
act your age not your shoe size
wake up to yourself
Im cliched out but you get my drift.
If you dont you will miss out on some of the best fun and best people you could meet.
If you like you can join my new fan club

Its an open invite

I am 57, born in Randwick and Lived in Paddo... 2 Norfolk St to be exact. and remember going to every home game in 1966 when we didnt win a game...... and to the first game in 1967 when we lost at home to Penrith in their first game in the comp......
.later that year we got to play Canterbury who were the comp leaders in our first match of the day at the SCG for 2 years....it was pissing down and a mud heap and we put on clean jerseys at half time...and beat them 18 to 2, with Larpa Stewart scoring 2 tries and Alan Mckean kicking 6 goals...we made the semis
I used to pick my team for every week and lay it out in formation. Remember Hayes, Junee, Neumann and Saddler? No names who formed a team based on heart and never say die, and teamwork.
The name might sound dumb to you, but it came about when I got a personalised number plate in June 2002...I had just bought a BMW M3 convertible....see avatar...which I still drive......I wanted to Get ROOSTA, but it was taken....so i got ROOSDA...you have to say it fast, but you get the meaning....
I drove it from Brisbane to Sydney the first weekend i got it, met up with my brothers and some mates at the Captain Cook,,,and went to watch the Roosters flog the Warriors 42 nil....we never lost another game that season, and ofcourse won the GF. so Ill stick with the name, even if its seems dumb to you.

Love your story. Thanks for your story.
I'm sure we all relate to these stories as we all have a common thread. We love this team and what the brand stands for. We have all suffered the hurt of 2009 and just wish it never darkens our door again.Written and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

Bunny - the most graceful of tacklers, I have witnessed, although they say the same of Johnny Raper.
Then along came T Gillmeister.
There is a junior player I know and his destiny is to carry the batton. Copybook tackler.
This has inspired my psuedo-nameWritten and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland
