Ross to go down with a broken toenail in the 4th minute, Dave Taylor to be nullified by the tackling machine Aubusson bro-combo, Burgess to storm off complaining about too cold beer and compulsory showers, and Crocker to find what remains of his soul and pledge his allegiance to red white and blue mid-match. Their backs are a bunch of uncos, not even worth worrying about.

not sure what the hell Brian Smith see's in Kouparitsis, definately not a replacement hooker and should only be seen at Newtown, but Brian Smith is very stubborn and without a doubt we will see Kouparitsis on the bench for round 1.

such a shame Friend couldn't stay out of trouble it will really hurt us this season, makes Jaubs probably the one player we now can't afford to get injured.

will be interesting to see if Smith gives Anasta a few weeks at Newtown to try and gain some match fitness and confidence, it was a really serious injury and infact he could be a hinderence to the team balance until he gains a bit of confidence.

if the core of Mini,Jaubs,Pearce,Carney stay fit we will be competitive but we can't afford to keep losing players to long term injuries at the current rate, we just don't have the depth yet.

I heard the main reason the charity shield was at homebush last weekend. Can you imagine the problems that would occur with all the mardi gras people coming down anzac pde and finding out that half the people in the footy stadium don't have any teeth, it would be bedlam !!!

with Cherro going down i wouldnt be surprised to see Koops switch to the back row & Jones get the bench spot as back up hooker.
