From memory Filuga returned back to a Scumdogs park footy club with his tail between his legs, a lot richer than when he left. Not that he received all his Sharks moula, but he certainly received plenty of money for doing nothing.
As to Jacob Selmes, at least he's a far better prospect than some others we've recruited recently, and probably comes at 1/2 the cost as well. Finally we have a coach who can spot a bargain.
And we do need props, rather than second rowers. We have plenty of younguns who are perfect for the second row, so that position's not really a problem, even with the injuries we've had.

Last chances can bring out the best in players...sometimes the young kids aren't mentally ready...if he's got some game in him then we may be fortunate to have thrown him a life line...we've lost some good young props that went on to play for other clubs once they settled and matured...about time we got one back that was ready to fulfill his potential...
Have a go kid...and we'll love you...
