a) australian schoolboys (le Strange, Winterstein, Friend, god knows how many others)

b) ageing players coming off contract who are looking for their last big deal

Gasnier is looking for a short term contract... it would be on match payments so he would be stupid not to play well otherwise he wouldn't be getting games which leads to yes you guessed it match payments.

We don't buy Australian school boys we produce them, Leulia is the only one in recent times who I can think of that will come to our club AFTER playing for the School boys, although even then we bought him before he played for the school boys. Talking about ignorance...

SKD will have a huge year, the kids just about to bloom and with the right coaching and environment we will see the best of him, but in saying that we would be crazy not to take Gasnier for a short term stint if he is availabe and there is room in our cap, the guy can CREATE, not just finish.

Kenny Dowell has a lot of potential but if the club can sign Gasnier even for a short time, they'd be stupid not to do it.

I'd prefer to blood our young centres who IMHO are good enough now and need FG experience.
Use the money that would have been spent on Gaz to pay Steggles' Charity Nest for all our massive wins.

No to Gaz, we have paid overs for players for too long. The only one in recent years who looks to give a shit is Myles. Invest in youth and get rid of the deadwood we have.
