Torn hamstring. His leg looked loose when he was going off. Yet to be confirmed, but I'd say he is gone for a large chunk of the season.

The bloke can't catch a break.

He really looked like hes bulked up bigtime too, not built to do the splits.

Sucked in now Parra can do what we did and pay him good coin whilst pulling splinters out of his arse on the sideline.

We stood by this bloke through some really tough times.

Glad we didnt match Parraspatters over the top price, money well spent

It was upsetting to see my old fave end his first game for Parra like that.

Shack never does things by half measures - he didn't just tear a hamstring he tore it right off the one. Bloody shame.

            He'll be absolutely shattered.

Hopefully he'll be back on the park before Season's end.

Remember the bloke stood by the Roosters in tough times as well - he played for base salary last year, and gave his all, which is more than I can say for his higher paid team mates.

He has 2 kids to support so you can't blame him for wanting to take the best deal.

But I suppose the Roosters can't afford to carry too many injury prone players, and we're already carrying Cherrington, again.

Naa, he's not a Chook, he's Parramatta scum. Not interested in injuries to Parramatta players. Just improves our chances of beating them.

He plays for another football team.

I don't mean "scum" as a personal attack on Shackleton, but as a generic insult towards an opposition football team. I am sure you have used them phant. He plays for a team intent on beating us. That makes him a football enemy not a friend
