Shitty luck for the young guy, he was having a real good game, and we need him bad.

depth was always going to be a problem for us this year, with JWH gone till around round 6ish and Cherro,Cordner and Symonds all gone for the year we are looking very light on in the forward pack, Leilua had a stormer in the NYC today he would have to be next in line for a shot in our cursed back row.

radio says it was a hyperextension and reports that maybe only a 2wk injury but hadley very sceptical of that.

It looks like our entire depth will be tested.

              11. Guerra
              12. Aubusson
              13. Myles

              16. Conn

Smith might use Koops like we used to use Crocker - some time at dummy half and some time in the back row.

That is the first decent game I have seen Koops play for the club. The first time I have seen him play and have bagged him.

I was in the tunnel when he went past in the medicab.

He seemed very upset and in great pain.
I wish him a speedy recovery.

The Ch9 comment was that the initial thought is that hyperextension and may only be 2-3 weeks.
BUT he will need XRays to determine if any cartilage/ligament damage which will add (who knows) time to recovery.

                      Fingers crossed for Tommy
......how did he hang on to the ball ??

he'll be alright. the way his knee went outwards i dont think you can do your ACL that way. So hopefully its a hyperextension. Or at worse PCL.

SMH report stated tha Symonds (hyperextension) and Jaubs (quad) were our only injuries and neither should be out for an extended time.

Hopefully this report came from a reputable source.
