BUT he will need XRays to determine if any cartilage/ligament damage which will add (who knows) time to recovery.

        Fingers crossed for Tommy
......how did he hang on to the ball ??

Both redheads injured this weekend ( Tommy and former chook ****shack)

Maybe a good omen that Bluey Jones did not play today.

Hopefully it's just a hyper extension. I remember Fitzy getting injured the same way a few years back in Brisbane

That is the first decent game I have seen Koops play for the club. The first time I have seen him play and have bagged him.
yeh i rated koops' play at dummy half.
it just seemed simple and direct and chose the right option when
                the opportunity arose.

i felt when jaubs came on our attack and direction seemed more forced
and we made more errors. i feel jaubs pushes the pass too hard and it
doesnt seem to come naturally to him

i agree that koops should go between dummy half and backrow. similar to what
melb did with Hinchcliffe when hoffman get injured

Thanks for posting that news elo as it's quite a relief to hear that Tom won't be missing for too long.

Given our injuries already this news could be much much worse, hopefully Symonds and JWH will be fit and ready to go soon

Awesome news for Tom and the side. He was having a great game to that point.

When he clutched his knee I swore so loud the dog flew out the gauze door with a crash and the cat hot on his heels. They know when to leave the room...

                            Chook.

Well incomparison, the media had Shack missing 4-6 weeks....after scans today he will now miss the entire season....

Hopefully Symmonds is not too bad, but body language said a lot.....

                                I feel for Tommy.

Didn't get to finish last year due to injury and looked like he has been putting alot in training to be able to play the way he was yesterday.

He must have been looking forward to so much only to have that shatter in round 1.
