it is certainly great news that there is no significant ligament damage.

not surprising to see that the club was being a little optimistic about Tom Symonds injury, they have already extended his stay on the sidelines to 4-6 weeks, don't be surprised if it extends further once they get him back into training and the knee is placed under stress, if it is anything like Stephen Gilham's(Hawthorn AFL) recovery from the same injury it will be a slow frustrating process.
