          Welcome..

Jeff Lima is a better prop than both Lopini and Frank-Paul...

But we have some younger guys like Kennedy that i would like to have a crack and if we do have $ to spend i would prefer to be chasing a strike centre.

                    Todd Carney
                    Anthony Minichiello
                    Shaun Kenny-Dowall
                    Phil Graham
                    Sam Perrett
                    Braith Anasta
                    Mitchell Pearce
                    Lopini Paea
                    James Aubusson
                    Jason Ryles
                    Aiden Guerra
                    Mitch Aubusson
                    Nate Myles

                    Nick Kouparitsas/Ben Jones
                    Tom Symonds
                    Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
                    Frank-Paul Nuuausala

I'm not 100% sure why Lima is needed. At full strength, we already have a full team of props, and even with the prospect of injury, we have three young NYC graduates in Tinirau Arona, Mose Masoe and Martin Kennedy, all of whom I strongly believe can do well at first grade given extended opportunity. Even Daniel Conn, who is a backrower, played prop at a pinch last week and did surprisingly well, and at times Nate pushed up into the front row with his usual gritty effectiveness.

Lima would provide much needed experience that would allow Kennedy time to develop. Frontrowers get better as they get older.

Mackdaddy, I will believe the hype of all our "wonders" from NYC when I see them in 1st grade carving up.

You can never have too many expierenced props IMO.

Injuries will be the thing to kill us this season. We are well short depth wise, especially in the forwards. We may also lose a few to rep footy if they keep the current form up.

                            Speaking from experience ?

I agree with you on depth though we don't have too many back ups in any position at this stage. Sure we have a number to come back but if we lost one or two in the next week or three we would be scratching around

I would like to see us persevere with Paea and Nuuausala. The only way I could see Lima fit in, is if we start Waerea-Hargreaves in the backrow instead of Guerra, bench Paea, and start Lima. That will give us a giant forward pack.
