    You reckon there was no double standards involved here? Think Anthony Cherrington for a moment, who has an assault conviction against his name for threatening his girlfriend with a knife and was rewarded with a contract extension.

    No excuse here NC but I think the club drew a line in the sand at the end of the year and hence why they made the decisions they did re: Waqa. Cherro's case went to court almost 12 months before hand.

      Yes I realise that Roostarfarian but it pisses me off that the Roosters use the unknown expendible guy as a scapegoat to pay for the previous mistakes of higher profile players like Cherrington, Friend, Myles etc.

      As far as I'm concerned, Waqa should have been given the same second chance as Cherrington was afforded. And that plenty of other players have been given in the past as well, including one firelighter in January.

        Why give someone a second chance that isn't that good anyway....Yes double standards exist. I honestly don't care. In fact, I'm glad they do.

          Yes and you will find that all clubs operate this way.

          Stewart would have been punted by now had he been a fringe first grader.
