Two teams with great attacking tendencies.....it was always going to be a high scoring game.

Junior Pearce ? he is a true tiger......but I don't blame him for swaping sides, as it's his son.

BUT....there is a positive feeling coming from my team :-)

While it is not great to drop so many points in the last 20 minutes, you could tell that the tigers were cutting loose.

Some of the plays that they put on were quite clever and very skillfull.

Smith will get that lapse in concerntration under control, but you had to applaude the tigers and their plays at the end of the match.

Tigers will shake up the 8 this season, they will cause clubs plenty of pain.

The game is played over 80 minutes, not 100.

If the Tigers are a top 4 team then the Roosters are premiership material.

                That we ain't.

Vasco, I'm thinking that both these teams will be in the top eight at the end of the season (injury pending). But not enough heavy weights in either team to cover the next 24 rounds.

We won that game when it mattered. We came BACK from a deficit. When was the last time that happened? We scored EIGHT count em 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 TRIES when we needed to. We did it quickly and easily as we did last week.

I am not having a shot at the Tigers fan. I am just astounded at what we did today, especially after the shit us fans have had to endure since '04!

We did let in tries, but I was dying in the stands watching the game, imagine how those players must have felt. Maybe they were just settling down so they'd have more in the tank for next Sunday.

If we can beat the Dogs on Sunday, regardless of how we go from there, I will be happy.

I also realise the Tigers are probably one of the top 4 attacking teams in the competition, but that should have been even more reason to stay ontop of their game.

44 - 32 compliments the Tigers when you look at the full 80 minutes.

44 - 16 is a far better reflection of the game as a whole, i'm disappointed the result didn't end up 50 - 16. I think it would have ended up this way if they played for 80 rather than 60 minutes.

But hey, very happy with the win and two points like I said!
That was what cost us the three tries, we turn the ball over trying to go for the jugular and all of a sudden they score, gather momentum and they're in for three quick tries.

We will learn more from giving up those late tries than we would have by winning 50 to 16, Smith will use that as a motivation to do beter next week. The guys are not robots, and wests had nothing to lose and more to gain in the last 15 minutes than we did, that stuff wont happen again, especially not it a tight game. Carney will learn from the dropped ball coming out from the ingoal, the other two were just us being out enthused, it happens when you know you have already won the game.

You have to give them some slack, it was bloody hot yesterday. I was getting up a sweat going to the fridge for another beer.

If there was another 20 minutes in the game it would have been 80-16 after 80 minutes. We put the cue in the rack. No big deal. It happens plenty of times but it gives Smithy plenty to work on in keeping their heads screwed on when required.
