How good was his run against the Tigers. Put a big smile on my face to see the big fella fireing up.

was a great run, lets hope we see more of it, the guy is a steamroller if he can hit holes.

I would like to see more of that kind of hole-hitting, hard-running commitment from Lopini.
The way that he set up Pearce for the try was quite skilful too. Excellent work Lopini and I for one hope to see it a few more times this season.
And yes, it is just such a pity Micky isn't a Rooster.

Yeah the run was great, but the best part was the pass to pearce, great work from the big man to pass on the run !

Lopini seems to have fired himself up for this season. As demonstrated in his comments directed at the Souffs forward pack last week. Hope this translates to many future games.. he has the talent. It's the motivation, coaching and support he requires.

According to monday night footy tonight, Lopini will be in the 'props pentathalon' on Nrl-On-Fox on wednesday night. Should be interesting to see if he can kick at all

He's got the coaching. We have the best coach at Easts since Cartwright coached us in 02 and 03.

I admire Cartwright, seems a no bs guy with a lot of passion.

                            LOL.

Apollo was like that when he first came to grade - before the retards coaching retarded his (and everyone else's) development.

What I liked about his two games so far is that he has obviously been given a job to do and he is sticking to it. He played the first 20 where he is there to take the impact of the big forwards in defense and very little work in attack.

Then the last 20 he comes on pretty fresh to run like a battering ram at tired forwards. It ain't rocket science but so far it has been pretty darn effective.

To date smith is rotating his forwards very well
