Some of these creditable journos(there are 1 or 2) know alot more than we would like to beleive, who do people think start thses rumours, usually the player or his manager to get his name out there.
Credible league journalism just about died with Frilingos...

I would like to see JOrbs at 7 as I reckon he'd be fantastic there.
Nah I still reckon that Jones will be our best option in the halves.

cmon mate, our school newsletters had more credibility

Its the managers and the players that leak whatever needs to be said.

the journo is a slight extension of their hand

Don't even compare Pearce's performances thus far with Hegarty's in our colours
they are not even on the same planet.
Yes, he was doing a great job in Premier league.

The difference here is we're reading what Pearce said... not what some nuffy who writes in the Daily Telegraph has heard.

I'm pretty sure we wont be going after him, a lot will depend on Minichiello's season though. Jones is rated very highly by some important people at our club so it's no wonder they have made a path for him into FG. Carney ---> Dragons

R_6, I'm a little confused about how Minichiello's season has a bearing on what the Roosters may or may not do with Todd Carney.

Well he'd be on around 400k a year, if he has a poor year or gets injured again he wouldn't demand much more than 100k. I can't seeing us freeing up money from anywhere else unless Fitzy retires and even then that's not much.

                        When did he play soccer??????????

From 2002 to 04, hegs played origin and test footy, he thoroughly deserved his selections, they werent given too him because 5 players were injured, or because his 5/8 was selected.

Hegs was a class act and best wing/centre in the game, injury ****ed his career, never again got fully fit, he has acheived more than pearce ever will in the game.

The only thing hegs done wrong apart from joining souffs was become mr clappy when el masri scored.

He was excellent out of dummy half
He was a turnstile in defence
We must have been watching a different person

Stevie wonder could see pearce is a pretender, he will never represent Australia and was lucky to represent NSW, has been handed everything on a silver spoon because of his surname.

If he ends up a decent first grade footballer, that will do me fine, but to think he will be the next Joey johns is laughable.

He will be lucky to reach Mat (the lesser brother) johns mediocre heights.

But continue to beleive if you will, thats your problem not mine

I bet you werent saying through his 3 super years, when he took all before him, playing origin, tests and playing grand finals.

You bandwagon supporters make me laugh, love a player when his great, jump on the bastard as soon as he screws up.
