TOK, maybe you should have emailed Mason instead of Kent. I liked the way Mason did not put any shit on his former club.

It was stand out TV, with a player being directly asked if he was involved in throwing a game.

And you want to go back to discussing the "issues of the game"?

That's the interesting thing about it John, it was very unlike Mason to not spill a word about the club.

Just makes you really wonder what happened.

        Simply because he can't.

the show was as shit as the footy show. But i did think mason was going to get up & belt Kent at one stage, that would've made the show worth watching.

Exactly, any Roosters 'payout' the Wanka received would have been given on the basis that he and the Roosters signed a 'confidentiality deed' which denied both parties the right to discuss the matter publicly.

Which is why both the Roosters and the Wanka have been sickeningly civil to one another. And why they will continue to be so.

You could see it written all over the Wanka's face, he was struggling to answer the questions without entering dangerous territory.

You can be sure that without this restriction, this bloke would have unloaded on the Roosters just like he unloaded on the Dogs when he parted ways with them.

You may have misread what I meant....I hope that each week they don't grill players on their past, present and future and only make that the focus....

the show is worse than the footy show.

Webke was useless on controversy corner - sitting on the fence. Johns basically said nothing during the whole controvery corner section. What a disgrace to what the real controversy corner used to be like back in the old days.

The rest of the show was absolutely shocking.

I watched 10 mins of it and turned it off!!
If i wana watch comedy i`ll watch old Seinfeld episodes or something along those lines, not ex footballers trying to be funny!

The Footy Show is just as bad, these clowns should stick to talking footy and leave the comedy to people that know how to act..

                  Thats all

All the skits were just not funny.
Ahn Do driving the cab at the start was ok, but other than that I found nothing funny in any of the skits (which were are a big part of the show).

Can't see myself making an effort to watch again.

Timeslot is alot better than Fatty's show, and as already mentioned the 1 hr allocation is ok.

It was funnier than Seinfeld, but then the anti smoking ads are funnier than Seinfeld.
The show didn't do alot for me, although the controversy corner was 10x better than any interview done on the footy show.
The fact they asked some questions that were not all sugar coated was a good thing.

If it rates consistently then Channel 7 might weigh in to the next TV rights negotiation. Hopefully this is the case and the League can split up a bit of extra revenue amongst the clubs.

I would direct it to Country and Junior RL, keep it right away from the NRL clubs and the players. They are given more than enough and the players are paid more than enough.

Not to mention all the talk of foxtel paying more, that will just mean the subcribers pay more and I prefer that not to happen as well.
