They might even move it to the 9:30 time slot.

Former Roosters coach Brad Fittler has hit back at Willie Mason, saying the controversial forward needs to take responsibility for the Roosters' wooden spoon season in 2009.

Mason told Thursday night's Matty Johns Show about his poor relationship with Fittler, who was axed as Roosters coach at the end of last season.

Mason was also allowed to leave by the Roosters, joining the North Queensland Cowboys this season.

The fact they asked some questions that were not all sugar coated was a good thing.

          Giddyup!!!!!!!

Paul Kent was giving him a grilling re: why he actually parted with the Roosters, brought up the rd 26 theory. Mason was nervous as hell.

Another interesting thing was that he didn't utter a bad word about the club. With his history, you'd think he'd have something to say, he had no trouble talking about the Dogs split.

Maybe the club does have something major on him ?

                  Theories, theories, theories ...
The only thing we had on him is that he was ****ed financially if he couldn't get a contract beyond this year and nobody wanted to give him a chance.

As it turned out he had a choice between sitting a year out (which would have made it impossible for him to get a new contract) or finally finding a club for this season (giving him and chance to perform and get a new contract) but having to seek a release.

He got the release - on our terms.

That segment pissed me off. Everytime Kent drilled him Webke and Johns let him off the hook because they didn't want to make their guest uncomfortable.

                  The show itself was pathetic.

He would be better off with a wooden plank next to him than Webke.

I won't be watching again - just like the other one.

was quite possibly the worst 60 mins of television I have seen in a long time.

                    The usual narcissists.

                    Webke and Jason Stevens.

Mason answered questions like he plays.
                    A cat.

                    All fart and no poo.

Both 7 and 10 have indicated they will be bidding for the rights.

Apparently, Josh Massoud indicated on the Big Sports Breakfast y'day morning that such a negative influence was Mason on several of our star players that Roosters officials wanted him as far away from Sydney as possible. That's why his more realistic options were Melbourne, Newcastle & Nth Qld.
I'm just so glad to see him out of our joint. Pearce & Myles' have improved immensely as a result.........and soon Jake Friend will fulfil his potential.
