  • Glad I'm Not a Kennedy

This isn't about the stumble when he dropped the ball. That was unfortunate but Pearce was really to blame because he should not have passed it.

This is about the ****ing dumb moronic pass he tried to throw at the start of the second half when we had scored two tries and were a chance of coming back. We dropped it, then they dropped it and we got a chance by getting the ball back only for the braindead ****wit to throw it away by trying a miracle.

    ****ing idiot.

That was a massive turning point because if we scored next then we were a couple of tries from the lead with momentum.

They scored off it and the rest is history.

    Stupid ****.

It was the only time I blew up in the whole game.

And I am glad that they can't kick goals too. It would really have been a scorline from the 1930's.

All those miracle offloads came off for him last week for Newtown......it just wasn't our day, every single bounce of the ball went the Doggies way and we prepared soft for the match....embarassing, but an excellent wake up call in Round 3 - over it.

So there is someone out there with common sense. I just like watching the reaction of the people on here that are abusive, and straight out offensive to supporters and the team alike.

What do people expect? Spoon to premiers?

Wake up people. Its round 3. We have had 2 good wins. Lets not hit the panic button yet.

i hope if he gets more chances this year he doesnt keep think hes playing for newtown

sometimes its best to just do the hard work and not try to be a hero
probably not the best way to try and get a regular first grade spot, apart from that pass and his dropped ball in goal i didnt notice him, good or bad but i cant see him being back in a while

            sorry if already posted:

            Light and fluffy' Roosters grounded

"It's over." That was the only positive coach Brian Smith was taking out of the Sydney Roosters' 60-14 shellacking from Canterbury on Sunday.

But also over was what had looked to be the dawn of a new era at the 2009 wooden-spooners, who had won their first two games of the new season in upsets over South Sydney and the Wests Tigers.

"The obvious things about disappointment and embarrassment are there for sure but, from a coaching perspective, it's probably a bit more about ... two swallows not making a winter," Smith said in a colourful post-match press conference.

"Everyone around us might have got themselves a bit carried away including the odd person in the room right now on that side of the table," he added, referring to the media.

"We also looked like a team who'd played three hot Sunday afternoon games who were looking for an umbrella tree, a patio and some nice pina coladas."

Asked if he'd sensed the humiliating defeat was on the cards, Smith said: "I sense that every week, it can happen, I hope that it doesn't.

"We went about our preparation in a really light fashion, (the heat) took a lot out of our guys last Sunday afternoon.

"My experience is if you prepare light and fluffy you tend to play light and fluffy, so we did.

"It was right across the board, we all had the disease, I probably had it myself today to be honest."

The early season heat Smith was referring to also produced a mammoth scoreline at Suncorp Stadium, where Brisbane were upset by the Warriors 48-16.

The Broncos are the Roosters' next opponents and Smith, somehow, expects his side to bounce back.

"I'm thinking they'll respond well," he said.

"I'm a positive sort of bloke and, as glum as today is, I've seen plenty of teams who've turned it around.

"We didn't persevere, we've got to learn how to do that, stick at it for longer, even on the days when the opposition are getting a bit of a good run."
we trained light and fluffy, by the sounds of it Smithy had a feeling things weren't gonna be good

Sounds like Brian's taking it better than some of our fans.

                          LOL no not like that.

I mean that they trained light during the week, meaning they were not prepared for the game as they would usually be.

Less preparation though helps the recovery for the Friday night game against the broncos.

3 sunday arvo games and a short preparation week for the next game, could smith have under prepared for the dogs match in order to fully prepare for the Broncos match?????
