  • Props...Its Official

FPN and Lopini are no where near first grade Props. Kennedy - could go well, but young and raw. The two coconuts must be cut after this seaosn -0 seriously they have nothing. Every time an opposition hooker pinches a try on the line whos the player falling off them? Frank Paul the Butter Ball. And Ryles will be lucky to play 5 games this year. We need Props more than back rowers.

I don't know why FPN gets called the wrecking ball...seen nothing to associate him with anything remotely similar to that nickname...Kennedy looked more like a wrecking ball playing with a busted knee as well...Lopini is too hot and cold...he has some serious pace for a prop but hardly uses it...

Lopini Paea is a first grade prop. He just needs to get alot more involved. He runs it as hard as anyone, its just the fact that those runns add up to about 5 per game.

well i have to agree with everyone so far on this thread.

i do the stat attack round in review in week which involves me keeping track of every player in the nrl, and i can see so far that the roosters have the worst set of props than any other team in the nrl.

i really hope setu comes down soon and JWH is back soon also, we might get some decency in the front row.

FPNs knee dropped onto McCullough and helped him to force the ball for a try. A perfect example of shit for brains.

Yes, that wasn't a great moment.
I really want to see both of these guys go hard, particularly Lopini because he doesn't have FPN's offload to compensate.

I can agree with most of that.

Both are only 20 min type players for mine. Lopini is a handy impact bench player at best but FPN is newtown material.

I can see L Paea at the dogs next yr joining his brother. The dogs need a prop and he suits their so called good guys image. He will probably become a star there.

Please, not on our bench, really this guy is not NRL standard. I just watched the first half again of the Broncos game.....he did 3 hit ups in 25 minutes, made ZERO one on one tackles, never even first man in, hes always 3rd into a tackle, and never front on. He is always out of position in defence, rarely back in the line and cant run more than 10 metres without needing oxygen. All the other forwards are covering for him. Paea is twie the player Butter Ball is, he just needs someone else there to share the work, Kennedy looked good, ran with heart til he got injured.

I bagged FPN relentlesly last year mainly because he kept spilling the ball. This season he is much improved as his error rate is minimal. He is not a line breaker but he does produce a good offload. If he can continue the way he's going then I'd be happy to keep him.

I'm happy with the way frank paul is developing.
