I'm right here and no doubt he has been outstanding in the first 4 games.

But where was that in his first 3 years?

At the pub with the rest of the team. The bloke always had ticker, and was a good player. He was the foundation of our pack for years to come. Some just couldn't see it.

Including Myles himself, which was the real issue.

In the past Myles has always followed, not lead. And he hasn't picked those he's followed with much thought.

It has taken one too many off field incidents and the reality that his career was at stake to hopefully head this bloke in the right direction and make some hard decisions about his lifestyle and his footy.

I'm hoping that he becomes a real leader of our team, but as I said, he needs a to complete a full season of good performances for the Roosters to convince me that he's the player everyone keeps telling me he is.

In the past he's gone gangbusters until picked for Origin and once that was achieved, played some pretty average footy after that. And that's not good enough any more.

It irks me that so many players have to "convince" others that they're worthy of being praised but so many others, Carney for example, are lauded from the get go.

But then again, given that Carney did not have a hand in our horror 2009 season, his slate must be clean.

It's Carney's first year at the Roosters, not his fourth. So I actually didn't have high expectations from him. And I certainly haven't been lauding his praises, because I realise he is a long way from a finished product, on or off the field. But he's made a better start to his Roosters career than some others.

Myles has in my opinion not earned his salary so far in the time he's been a Rooster. And I reckon it's about time he did.

I don't believe that a year of consistent good footy for the Roosters is too much to ask of the bloke. Many don't agree with asking that much of him. And that's fine.

I agree with wanting him to play consistently. But he's also been one of best in our first four matches, along with others who weren't so crash hot in 2009 and I don't see what's so wrong with giving credit where credit is due.

I acknowledge that he's currently playing some good footy.

Let's hope he continues to do so. Early days yet.

Nate is not trying to repay anything. For anyone bothered to open their eyes, the guy has been playing like a champ all along.

                        Pearce is the organizer.

                        Myles is the glue.
And Braith is the overpaid underperformer

that's because it wasn't there to see

Myles has made it happen by getting fit, getting off the piss, and getting stuck in

What absolute garbage. You obviously have no idea of what a real 'team' player is.

Wasn't there to see week in week out. The bloke obviously had talent as shown in a handful of games for the chooks, and when called up to origin.

I have always been a fan. He like alot of young people including myself, enjoyed a drink and a good time. He earnt a shit load of dough and partied hard. He has seen what happens when you drink too much and don't commit 100%. I really think he is over that period in his life, and is a better man for it.

TOK, I think it was there to see.

you need to get past his looks

if you pay someone marquee money you're entitled to expect marquee results

What Braith delivers is eons away from being anything like marquee

If he was only getting paid $200K it wouldn't be so bad

marquee players must do more than be "team players"

                                but he's soooooo cute

                                "woohoo, Go Braithee"!!!
