Do tell me how exactly did you raise the issue of the captaincy with him What was it that you told him ? How did you address what you thought were his inadequacies as a captain ?

I have been saying it for years, we will win nothing with this dud as our five eight.

We look better when pearce and carney have the ball in their hands.

When anasta gets involved, he usually mucks it up.

He just doesnt have it for the huge amount of money he is on. Thats why he failed at origin level and thats why the dogs let him go.

Shift him to lock for the rest of the season and just tell him to tackle (thats the only thing he is good at apart from going out with famous girls) and then shift him off to england at the end of the year.

We cannot rebuild anything with this dud taking up our salary cap.

Anasta wouldn't even polish their boots.

He is a good first grader and that's it. He's not a ball player or kicker in general play. This has been forced upon him by coaches over the years. The same happened to Freddy but he was good enough to develop a passing and kicking game. Gould has said this many times about him.

Anasta just isn't the player he was touted as being. It happens.

And on a side note....Fittler was one of those players who either played the game of his life and everyone loved him for it, or he had a shit one, and everyone wanted to hang him for it...but people were never EVER happy for an average game from him, and there wrer..so in a way they were a lot alike....not in skill, but in how people perceived them......

but as to your other points, if Carney was 5/8 I'd be applauding, but more importantly, I'd be content in the knowledge that the right guy was in the position. Honestly NC, he's done more in 5 weeks with ball in hand at the line than Braith has in 4 or 5 years or however long it's been. But I'm truly over arguing that point

And if you'd seen my previous posts, you'd find, even in the last 2 weeks, plenty of praise for Pearce, incl specifically his defence and the fact that he's kicking less, Carney ad nauseam, Myles (if whose game improves just a small amount can be a great), suggestions that Paea and Frank will work out (soon, I hope)
