Johns, Fittler, Lockyear, Thurston, Hayne, Marshall.
Anasta wouldn't even polish their boots.
He is a good first grader and that's it. He's not a ball player or kicker in general play. This has been forced upon him by coaches over the years. The same happened to Freddy but he was good enough to develop a passing and kicking game. Gould has said this many times about him.
Anasta just isn't the player he was touted as being. It happens.
Are we happy that we are paying this top dollar to a guy who admits he is happy the play making pressure taken off him by Carney and Pearce? When you are paying that sort of money I want a guy who says he wants the responsibility.. After all as Captain and probably best paid player that's what he should be doing.. Our highest paid player in all probability won't even play origin which is a pretty good indicator of where he is at.
I love Braith's passion and he seems like a great guy, I see him kissing babies after games etc etc but at the end of the day that is not enough when you are paid at the top end.. We need a match winner... With Pearce and Carney we have potentially the best halves combo in the comp.. With the likes of Myles, Maubs, Symonds, Cherrington, Cordner, Lowe, we have plenty of options in the backrow going forward. Sad to say and I said it last year when Carney was signed that we don't have room for Braith in the team and his money would be better spent fixing some of our major deficiencies, ie; Front Row, Centres even Full Back going forward if Carney moves to 5/8....

But plenty when while not "shit", where he didn't earn his big $s in attack.
Would not have swapped him and I am grateful for 3 GFs but I still think he didn't stand up enough in either of the 3 GFsThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

He wasn't terrible in the Grand Finals, and playing injured in a few of them. Definitely the best player on the pitch in 2002, Fitzy was lucky to get the churchill medal.
There was also 2000 when he was really battling with groin issues and wasn't fantastic in that match. Even if he was firing, it would be tough to see that excellent Brisbane side get beaten.FONK

He redeemed himself in the next few years - only to become Shittler again as coach.
It's funny that the best times on The Wall were when we were craphouse.

I have a sudden realisation that I am starting to like him a lot.
Especially since he has caught you out being a hypocrite.
You are alleging that we are weak because we criticise players on an anonomous forum yet don't do it to their face.
There is no way you criticised Fitzy to his face and you know it.
We all love a hypocrite.
Just like we all love a westie.
