  • Roosters supporters pubs

I was wondering if anybody knew a good pub to watch roosters away games at. Somewhere which has an abundance of chooks supporters and a good atmosphere to watch the game.

the worst sporting clubhouse in australia. You wanna see greed pop in and see how a footy club that was for supporters and the community has been turned into a poker den. The most souless and depressing place in sydney.

Why is only the "locals" think this.....

I know not one person that lives outside the area that thinks of the Leagues club like that....

And seriously, if you think thats a pokie den, you need to see a few more clubs....its got bugger all compared to our locals....

Personally I love the chances we get to go back to the club......

Maybe so but that's where an abudance of Roosters fans go when they can't make the away games.

I would have though one of the pubs around Bondi or Coogee would be a good spot to watch a chooks game at...the locals of that area would know a bit more I suppose...

easts leagues was the 1st place i thought of but not the most exciting place to stick around after the game and have a beer.

i live in dulwich hill but am resigned to the fact that there is not a big chance of any east supporters pubs around my area, so i was hoping for maybe somewhere in paddington as its not too far and still a half decent place to go out afterwards.

Did you know that the "poker den" propped the team up for years? If it wasn't for that "poker den" we would all be Souffs supporters.

You ought to get in there whenever you can for that reason alone.

By the way, that chinese restaurant is great but always empty. I make sure I get a gang of people in there every couple of weeks for a feed and I urge all others (who live nearby) to do the same.

                      We must support that club.

You could join those few supporters at the game they do have bars there at the ground

Not sure about the Nelson, Mill Hill or the Royal but I wouldnt classify the others as 'Rooster' pubs.
