I see, I thought you had it covered with Cross, Taufua, Tolar and Tuimavave.
Seeing that 3 out of those 4 have "T" surnames, Tolman would make a complete set.

I hope POS can entice them to Bondi Junction. They may be under contract but $$ talks especially if the Broncos want Hannant and wish to retain others.
      Your thoughts?
i seem to be one of the few that actually rates our centres in particular and i dont actually think we need to make any signings in particular in the centres. graham and SKD are doing a very good job imo at the moment and also complement each other quite well not only in terms of skills sets but also in terms of age (graham being experienced and SKD still being relatively young and fresh). These 2 aside, we have linnett, williamson, du plessis and blair all coming through who have all played highest level rep footy in their age group and have all shown great promise. between all of them, i really cant see a need to buy another centre. As i stated in my initial post, just a winger with some speed to replace mini would be handy and gordon is my pick.

In terms of gillet, imo he is extremely talented but is best suited to backrow. like the centres, i think our backrow has plenty of depth and therefore i would see gillett as surplus to our needs. at full strength we have a backrow of myles, maubs and cherro with symonds off the bench. this is quite well balanced already imo and all of those players have proven their worth at first grade level. throw in conn and guerra who have been exceptional this year and still have their best footy ahead of them and that is plenty of quality and a well balanced backrow all of whom having already proven themselves at first grade level. Throw in leilua, cordner and lowe who are 3 of the most excting young players going around as well and i really cant see any deficiencies in the backrow or centres for that matter and therefore see no need for such signings in the grand scheme of things. im happy to see us simply allow the team to develop for a couple of years and then establish a dynasty like melbourne. its on the cards we just need to be patient

                      1. Carney
                      2. Gordon
                      3. Graham
                      4. SKD/Williamson
                      5. Perrett
                      6. Anasta
                      7. Pearce
                      8. Graham/Tolman
                      9. Friend
                      10. Ryles
                      11. Cherro
                      12. Maubs
                      13. Myles

                      14. FPN/Tamou/Conn/Kennedy
                      15. JWH
                      16. Symonds
                      17. Brunton/jaubs/jones

thats pretty well balanced and capable imo. it has been evident this year that all we lack is probably another good prop forward to give us a bit of extra go forward with the rest of our pack developing really nicely imo. the backline is in exactly the same boat but i think mini is starting to get a little bit passed it and lacks his former potency so someone like gordon would be a good smart buy - plenty of speed and an awesome finisher who is largely underrated so wouldnt break the bank imo. also a more than competent goal kicker. i think anasta is doing a solid job from 5/8 atm and then going into 2012 anasta and ryles should be let go facilitating carney's move to 5/8 and either the signing of a fullback or simply reshuffling the backline a little to allow for linnet, towers, moeakiola or naughton to come through. im liking the way our side is developing. massive potential imo
I see a lot of potential with that side. Michael Gordon would be a great signing and I think he has all the skills to be very successful at the Roosters, especially with the style of play we are seeing from the team at the moment. Although I'd say if one of our young guns prove to be developing well enough to have a shot at first grade and then settling in, I'd be inclined to keep them as they've come through the system. Aiden Tolman or James Graham from St Helens would be my priority signing for next year. They are both very good players in their own right and I would love to see one of them here at the Roosters next year. As you mentioned, we've got plenty of talent coming through and the likes of Boyd Cordner, Ethan Lowe, BJ Leilua, Cheyse Blair, Kane Linnett, Fine Moeakiola, Ryan Williamson, JP du Plessis and Luke Towers are all waiting in the wings for a shot at a spot in the NRL team. Exciting years ahead for the club if you ask me.

Expect to see us chase an outside back to replace Minichiello, and a prop to replace Paea. Ryles will eventually be replaced by Kennedy - we should persist with this kid.

Dugan will replace Anasta, Carney will shift to five-eighth and Dugan to slot in at fullback.

Regarding the vacated prop and back positions, we have some kids with potential, but I am not yet convinced of their FG standard yet.

He's playing the house down tonight. Really classy player. The New Mini
