I agree JWH, Ryles, Myles and Brunton had us on the front foot, Soward just turned us around too much.

Brunton seemed to making a thousand tackles. It's probably just his fluro boots that made me take notice. I thought JWH had a good game but Ryles especially.

the tide certainly turned against us when JWH&Ryles had their spell, the game pretty much played out to expectation, we were competitive for a long period, but clearly not at the Dragon's level yet.

on a positive note the defence in the first half was exceptional, if we play at that level for extended periods in matches there will be plenty of wins for us later this season.

We were dominating them in the middle when we had JWH, Ryles, Conn, Myles. Brunton on.

You can't leave them there the whole game however i thought Brian should of put them on 5-10 min earlier than he did. We were still in the game and Dragons were slowly getting the advantage.

FPN got through a mountain of work (2nd top tackler of the game, 2 less than Myles), whilst Paea ran hard in part.

I thought they were OK today, and seem to be getting better.

Intense yes, but i had no confidence that we could score. We threatened to break the line, but threaten to score? i just didn't see it..

Carney is so wasted at fullback it's unbelievable. Play Anasta somewhere else if you must, but just get Carney to 6

I didn't see any of that spark when he was going across field all game. I thought our backs as one unit let us down today.
