Jones has been screwed around by Smith so much this year, to name him and not play him at this stage would be plain cruel.

Around the ruck you normally have 1 or 2 other guys in support to make the tackle.. In the Centres he can be isolated one on one and that is where he struggles..

I hope Jones can step up in defense or else it'll be a rough day for those around him like the 'Dogs game. Chris Lawerence is a quality ball runner whose lines are exceptional. He outplays solid centres every week so I am just praying Jones steps up to the plate and can match him defensively.

Mini at fullback is a worse call than Jones at centre, Mini's game looks 2 seasons behind, love the bloke but he will be shown up worse than carney in the 1.

It was a great time to blood williamson or Linnett in the centres, once again our player of the year perrett is left out of position, we are sorely missing his kick returns, i would have put JOnes at half, carney to 5/8 and Anasta to lock.

Have to agree about Mini.

It is a real shame we are seeing him being a shadow of his former self. I really hope he has a decent game, but unfortunately I see him getting smashed easily with every touch of the ball. Benji and Farrar will give Mini nightmares. Hope I am wrong.

I saw Ben Jones play in the NYC and he was outstanding. He had a hand in a few tries as well as scoring a brace of his own. I see plenty of potential in him and I wouldn't mind him slipping into fullback with Carney now at 7. He has played there before at NRL level and he done very well.
