Why should the Tigers have beaten us by 20? They didn't bomb any tries in fact we did, the main reason they couldn't score was because of our defence. Also we've beaten them 3 out of 3 so wouldn't that suggest that we are the better team. It seems that every tigers and non tigers fan keep saying that they should've had the game wrapped up when Carney scored the winning try. Why? Could someone please enlighten me.

Maybe it is the perception that they were dominating the play for large parts of the game which makes people belive that they should have won.
You are spot on RC, our defence caused them to not score, simple as that, you could say that our defence wanted the win more.

Plus we had Pearce out, Carnage playing injured, Bwaiff playing average coming back from a nasty injury and the fact our outside backs can leak like a tea strainer.
Id guess most expected us to leak plenty. The Tigpies sure had some good calls and quality ball attacking our line.
What amazed me was we actually defended very well and won an arm wrestle. Just being in the arm wrestle was very surprising to me.
Consistency is what we need now. Weve shown we can change gameplans and play for 80mins occasionally.

You know it makes sense.

Hope they don't blow it with an ordinary performance against an ordinary side on Monday night.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

We have to back up with "attitude".
I love the Titties "attitude". They dont seem to give a fark who they play, even where now, they just want to win, whatever the cost. No bullshit about injuries, bounces of the ball, reffs etc.
If we really get stuck in on Monday, show that "attitude" 2wks running, I may even start to believe.

we never looked threatening, never looked like anything in attack
we did man up in the 2nd half in defence though
nonetheless a lucky win, of the highest order
right down to them basically blowing the last second miracle comeback win
