These are the games a good side just wins..

We should do this in a canter..

If we have shaken off our sheety back end of '08,& all last year, then we win..

Last week should have told them alot about what they can do when they play the 80mins..

No Thurston or Bowen for them means they will throw faark all at us if we are disciplined..

Their only chance would be a freakish performance from Mason..but i am willing to bet on him being well contained..

Carney is due for a big one,& probably won't play too many minutes off the bench on Friday..Just gotta hope he gets through it unscathed..

My biggest hope for this week is that Myles stays 18th man for friday..

And that our Kiwi boys don't get hurt..or Mini..

We should lap them but I am very, very nervous. Logically we are a better team by miles but the Roosters are an inexperienced side coming off a tough game, several players backing up for two games in a weekend, missing the halfback and playing in a strange time slot in front of a pretty empty stadium against a side no one fancies - it might be hard to get up for this one.

Roosters 13+, I'll be thrilled to just pick up the two points and push on with more important games.

Im just a little weary of our attack, it looked with pearce not on the feild, was hard to try and find how we were going to score our next try, our attack was a mess. Might make it a little more difficult if anasta doesent play either. But still us by 13! Hope carney and mini can have a big one if they play. there due for it.

If we keep building on our defensive game till it becomes routine like, then our attack we come right again for sure. Go Roosters

Basically we will win based on the player's attitude. If the players turn up thinking that the match is dead rubber then the Cowboys will trump us like what the Sharks did to the Knights. Hopefully Smith can get them mentally well prepared. Roosters by 13+

The reigning wooden spooners shouldn't underestimate anyone.

This is a big game for us, still quite a few players out and a few returning with very little match fitness. We should win and win well, we do however need to control the ball better than we have in recent weeks.

Regardless of what the experts on here think, we need Anasta to play and play well, no injuries from the rep games will also help our chances

They have nothing to offer in attack. Thurston is injured, Bowen is out, and Hargreaves hopefully will put Mason out for the season.

Sure, their forwards are OK, but O'Donnell will give away penalties galore, and as long as Ryles keeps stepping up, Scott shouldn't have too much of an effect on the game.

Anyway, all Braith/Todd have to do is put up a bomb and watch Bani and Gallant make fools of themselves.

If we have improved at all from last year, we should win this no questions asked.

I think its going to be a tight game with the Roosters just getting home in the last 20 minutes. The Cowboys are going to put in this week, they were blown off the park last week and have had 8 Days to prepare they are going to be ready.

I wouldn't underestimate them, they still have players of some quality in the side.

I can't remember the last time I was confident before a game (rather than hopeful). Certainly not since mid 2008 and really not since 2004. How we perform tomorrow night will determine whether we can take heart as roosters fans.

If we don't win by 20 then I am doomed to spend another season stressed off my brain!!

For the sake of my wife and kids - Go Easts!!
