I am still sitting here trying to justify how a video ref looks at that and gives it a try. For mine Watts knocked on and it should have been pulled up there.

I would love to see that decision again,it was hard to tell on the screen at the SFS whether he knocked on or whether the ball was knocked out by the Rooster player,i tend to think Watts knocked on though but i also would have disallowed the try and given the Roosters a penalty for Phil Graham being taken around the neck after he went for the ball.

Theres a few reasons it shouldnt have been a try...Pick one...
1.Jones didnt play at the ball.
2.If they say Jones played at it, then obviously Watts did aswell.
3.Phill Graham taken a bit high.
4.Graham not being allowed to get up and get the ball after it came loose.(thats why he was trying to use his foot to hold it)

Surely one of those is reason enough for it to be disallowed!

Everything was fair play, however if Jones was rules to play at the ball then Ash Graham played at the ball when tackling Phil Graham resulting in a knock on.

That's the reason why it was so frustrating.

Nth Qld played it smart in the way they made Maubbs make 2 or 3 tackles in a row and then as soon as he was offside in the ruck they just poured down our right side of defense punching holes in and around SKD..

Without Maubbs in the defensive line on our right we are all over the place...

And i think that is the point the people are missing, while the Cowboys were crap, they came with a plan and their plan worked to a tea.

Take out the best defender and instantly those around are easier to run past. Alot of our problems come down to communication and support on the defensive line.

People Bag perret for running in off the wing, he is not the only winger in the league to do it. It is a common defensive play for the winger to dart in and snuff out a play. It is also common for the Centre and the second rower to cover the outside if the winger does come in.

And thats where alot of the communication broke down, there was no back up or support on the right of defence.

We have problems thats for sure, we played one of the most attrocious games of league i have ever seen last night.

Do we hook people and give these younger blokes a go? i say yes.
